2009 Hillsborough Hot Air Balloon Festival and Fair : Held July 9-12, 2009 at Grimes Field in Hillsborough, NH http://www.balloonfestival.com. Balloons in attendance this year are as follows; Ted O'Hara piloting "Irish Rover", Honi Glover piloting "Amazing Grace", Chris Mooney piloting "Big Max", Bill Colyer piloting "Last Penny", Frank Bart piloting "Party Time", Paul Sena piloting "Thunderbuster", Darrek Daoust piloting "Ms. Happy Incognito". During the Moon Glo there was a balloon which I do not know who is the owner. The balloon "Bewitched" with the black cat and witch on the broomstick. If you know who owns it please let me know so I can update this space.

2008 Pittsfield, NH Hot Air Balloon Rally : August 1-3, 2008 - I was able to chat with Kurt from JBI Helicopters for a bit. http://www.jbihelicopters.com Helicopter rides (I highly recommend them for $25.00 per person), Tethered Balloon rides in Big Max for $10.00 per person, all the fair-type food you can eat and live entertainment on the main stage. Another great event put on by the Pittsfield Rotary. Balloons in attendance are; Amazing Grace - Pilot, Honi Glover; Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds - Pilot, Rudi Sachenbacher; Big Max - Pilot, Chris Mooney; Seadog - Pilot, Dale Riley; Nasty Habits - Pilot, Bob Russell; Wild Ride - Pilot David Markowitz; Equinox - Pilot, Tom Stodolski; Flashover - Pilot, Marc Brodeur; Serenity Seeker - Pilot, Ben Cochran; Highland Harmony - Pilot, Sue Cassidy; Oaxaca - Pilot, Dave Tanzer; Loafer - Pilot, Ron Cassidy; Polar Secret - Pilot, Rick Jones; Gary's Balloon - Pilot, Gary Morgan.

2007 Pittsfield, NH Hot Air Balloon Festival & Rally : 2007 Pittsfield, New Hampshire Hot Air Balloon Rally Festival. Helicopter rides, tethered balloon rides, mass ascension, balloon liftoff. We took a helicopter ride from JBI in N800JB Bell Jet Ranger 206B. Our pilot Leo was great and gave us a great tour of the surrounding area. The Friday evening launch was limited to one balloon, Irish Rover. The Saturday mass ascension went off without a hitch but there was not much wind. Irish Rover was the only balloon to lift off on Saturday evening and we were not in Pittsfield for the Sunday mass ascension. I'd like to thank the Pittsfield Rotary club for a great job on the balloon festival and JBI for a great ride. http://www.jbihelicopters.com/
