2007 Pittsfield, New Hampshire Hot Air Balloon Rally Festival. Helicopter rides, tethered balloon rides, mass ascension, balloon liftoff. We took a helicopter ride from JBI in N800JB Bell Jet Ranger 206B. Our pilot Leo was great and gave us a great tour of the surrounding area. The Friday evening launch was limited to one balloon, Irish Rover. The Saturday mass ascension went off without a hitch but there was not much wind. Irish Rover was the only balloon to lift off on Saturday evening and we were not in Pittsfield for the Sunday mass ascension.
