The ceremony was choreographed and set to music, for a truly memorable experience. In attendance were members of the Monument Committee, the American Legion, the VFW, the Boy Scouts of America, Pinkerton Academy JROTC, and Derry's own "Band of Brothers". Governor John Lynch was the keynote speaker and presented an Executive Commendation to Derry Town Council Chairman, Rick Metts. State Sen. Bob Letourneau presented a Senate Proclamation.
