Wings of Freedom - Manchester, NH - September 17, 2008
The Wings of Freedom tour stopped by KMHT Manchester-Boston Regional Airport September 17-19, 2008. On hand were some gorgeous WWII vintage aircraft including;
The world’s only dual control P-51C Mustang
A B-24J Liberator (Serial # 44-44052) painted with the 8th Air Force, 467th BG "Witchcraft" Colors which is the only restored flying B-24J in the world
B-17G Flying Fortress (Serial # 44-83575) painted with the 91st Bomb Group, 323rd Squadron "Nine O Nine" colors which had 140 completed missions without the loss of a crewman
B-25 Mitchell "Tondelayo"
